舐めてたわけじゃないけど

仕事探しを本格的に開始した51日目。

Today, I printed out my CV and handed it in some restaurants because I made up my mind yesterday.

But, it was really harder than I expected.

Yesterday, I found some restaurant on google map near a station.

So, I visited that station and handed in my CV to every restaurant I found.

But, some restaurants refused to even receive my CV.

I figured out the reason soon, a staff member from one of the reataurants told me I was the fifth person today bringing a CV.

I was so surprised, I heard many people are struggling looking for a job, but the situation is more serious than I thought.

I think lots of people think same things as me.

We prefer to work near a station.

Today, I learned that it is difficult to find a job near a station.

Eventually, I visited 6 restaurants, but the ones that received my CV were only 3.

Those restaurants have also received many CVs. I saw so many CVs piled on the staff room.

I think today it's impossible to get a job in a restaurant.

That's why, I'm thinking to hand in my CV in other areas a bit futher from the station.

昨日決めていたから、今日は履歴書を印刷して仕事探しをしてきた。
オーストラリアでの仕事探しは、店に直接行ってレジュメを手渡しで渡し歩く。
実際にやってみると思ったよりも大変だった。
昨日Googleマップで今日行くところの目星をつけていた。
実際に行ってみて手当たり次第にレストランに声をかけに行った。
でも、履歴書を受け取ってくれもしない店が意外と多くあった。
何軒か行くと、今日レジュメを持ってきたの君で5人目だよと言われた。
ブリスベンで仕事探しが大変って言うのは聞いていたけど、状況が思ったよりもかなり深刻だった。
多分考えていることはみんな同じで、駅の近くで探したいと言うのもあるのだろう。
実際に今日、６軒の店を訪ねたけど、履歴書を受け取ってもらえたのは3軒だけ。
この3軒もバックヤードに大量のレジュメが積まれているのがちらっと見えた。
だから、恐らく今日行ったレストランで仕事をもらうのは絶望的だろう。
今日の教訓を得て、次は駅近くではないエリアで仕事探しをしようかなと思ってる。
