帰国前だからシアトル満喫するか

またお会いできて嬉しいです。

今日はアメリカでの最終日ということで、シアトルを満喫していました。

まず、明日飛行機に乗るためにコロナのテストを受けることになっていました。

テストを受けたCapital Hillと呼ばれる地区。建物の開発が目立つ。

その結果を待つ間、Westlakeという観光地へ。

友達が勧めてくれたコーヒーショップへ行きました。

Storyville Coffee。確かに友達の言う通りかなり美味しかった。

その後、超お腹が空いたので、これまた超有名なPike Place Marketと呼ばれる市場でシーフードを買ってその場で食べました。

市場の中に剥き出しとなったレストラン。かつての築地市場みたい。

サーモンと野菜のグリルにポテトフライ。
ケチャップを料理の上に置くアメリカ的な雑さが今となっては恋しい。

ちなみに検査結果は陰性でした。

検査結果を確認した後、UWから西側の地区にあるWood Land Zooに行きました。

実はこの動物園に行くのは2回目なので、動物園にいる古い友達に別れの挨拶を言うような気分だったのを覚えています。

残念ながら、ペンギンはインフルエンザが蔓延しているため、避難しているとのこと。

彼らにとっては2022年にパンデミックが始まるようです。

でも、とてもいい時間でした。

いよいよ明日、日本に帰ります。

待ち遠しい。

退寮のためメチャクチャになってる寮の一階

Hi, I am glad to see you again!

Today, I was just enjoying Seattle because it was the last day at Seattle.

First, I was supposed to take a covid-test for taking an airplane tomorrow.

While waiting for the result of the test, I went to the tourist area called Westlake.

I went to a coffee shop that my friend recommend to me.

After that, I was super hungry so I got some seafood at Pike Place Market, which is also super famous.

The result of the test was negative by the way.

After getting the proof of the result, I went to Wood Land Zoo which is located in West area from UW.

That was the second time visiting the zoo so I was like saying good bye to old friends in the zoo.

Unfortunately, the penguins sheltered due to spreading flu.

For them, the pandemic starts spreading in 2022.

That was a good time though.

Finally, I will go back to Japan tomorrow.

I can't wait for it.
