2024/06/14「香水」"Perfume"

夏の午後、蝉の声が響く中、彼と彼女は学校の屋上に座っていた。風が吹くたびに、二人の髪が軽やかに揺れた。彼女はお弁当を広げ、彼はその横で笑顔を見せた。太陽が眩しくて、彼らは目を細めながら、お互いの話に耳を傾けた。

「今日も暑いね」と彼女が言った。

「うん、でも君と一緒だから気にならないよ」と彼は答えた。

二人は笑い合いながら、ふとした瞬間に手が触れ合った。その瞬間、彼女は彼の手から香る香水の匂いに気づいた。甘くて爽やかな香りが、彼女の心に深く染み渡った。

「その香水、いい匂いだね」と彼女が言うと、彼は少し照れたように笑った。

「ありがとう。実は母からもらったんだ。君が好きそうだと思って。」

彼女の心は暖かくなった。彼の優しさと気遣いが、夏の陽射しのように彼女を包み込んだ。

彼らはしばらく無言で過ごしたが、その静寂も心地よかった。蝉の声と遠くの街の喧騒が、二人だけの世界を作り出していた。彼女は彼の肩にもたれ、彼はそっと彼女の手を握った。

「ずっと一緒にいられるといいね」と彼女がささやいた。

「そうだね、ずっと。」彼は優しく答えた。

夕暮れが近づくと、空はオレンジ色に染まり、二人の影が長く伸びた。彼らは手をつないだまま、帰り道をゆっくりと歩いた。その日もまた、彼らの心に深く刻まれた思い出の一つとなった。

On a summer afternoon, amidst the sound of cicadas, he and she were sitting on the school rooftop. Each time the wind blew, their hair swayed lightly. She spread out her lunch box, and he smiled beside her. The sun was dazzling, and they squinted as they listened to each other's stories.

"It's hot today," she said.

"Yeah, but I don't mind because I'm with you," he replied.

As they laughed together, their hands brushed against each other. At that moment, she noticed the scent of his perfume. The sweet and refreshing aroma deeply permeated her heart.

"That perfume smells nice," she said, and he smiled shyly.

"Thanks. My mom gave it to me. I thought you'd like it."

Her heart warmed. His kindness and thoughtfulness enveloped her like the summer sunshine.

They spent some time in silence, but the quiet was also comforting. The sound of cicadas and the distant bustle of the city created a world just for them. She leaned on his shoulder, and he gently held her hand.

"I hope we can stay together forever," she whispered.

"Yeah, forever," he replied softly.

As evening approached, the sky turned orange, and their shadows grew long. They walked home slowly, hand in hand. That day became another deeply etched memory in their hearts.
