●なるべく短く歌詞を訳してみよう、をテーマにしています。

昔からの名曲なので個人で訳している人も多い曲だから少し今更感はある。
内容は公園の様子の描写が多かったので自然とシンプルな日本語になった。
でも★印の部分はダブルミーニングになっているようで、その部分は結構工夫したので結局時間はかかった。

のことを歌っているらしい。

日本には独立記念日はないけれども、似たような位置づけの日といったら原爆の日とかだろうか。東日本大震災か。
でもどちらもお祝いの日ではないしやっぱり違う気がする。
