英語で海の生き物を学ぼう！Let's Learn about "Under the Sea"

7月は地表の実に70％を占める”海”の中を探検します！
3週間にわたる水中での楽しい時間に皆ワクワクです。

“Slippery Fish”という手遊び歌に合わせて、海の生き物たち、そして食物連鎖について学びます。クラフトの作成にもお子様たちの巧緻性と語彙力を伸ばす色んな秘密が隠されています。

表層、中深層、漸深層、深海層。こんな言葉は日本語でもなかなか触れることは少ないですよね。

海面からお日様の光が届くところ、もうすぐ夜になりそうな夕暮れ時のように暗い海、真夜中の様な暗黒の世界、もしかしたら英語の方がわかりやすいかもしれません？！

この生物はどの層に住んでいる？どこまで潜れる？どんどん探求心が湧いてきます。

歌に出てくる生き物の動き方（スイスイ、クネクネ等） の表現も、動きと合わせて復習したり。

子ども達と歌と動きを教わって、一緒に海の世界を楽しんでみましょう。
さて、来週は何を作るのかな？

For the month of July, we’ll continue to explore the realm that takes up 70% of our planet — oceans! Welcome to three weeks of underwater fun.

Staying true to GK’s hands-on and thought-provoking methodologies, students will learn through a mixture of mediums, including this month’s song “Slippery Fish.” Each week explores a different underwater world and the animals that live there.

Ways to explore with your children:
Review the order of the ocean zones
Have them place the animals in the correct zones
Sing “Slippery Fish” together and have your child teach you the actions
Ask your children what they think they’ll learn next week or about what animals they can find in the next layer. This is great preparation for the next lesson!”
