天を向いて

kittyの一番可愛らしい格好、それは、顔を天に向けながら寝ている姿でございます。僕にとって。

僕がkittyに会ったのは、kittyが2歳頃でございますので、へそを天に向けて寝ている姿というものは、彼女の写真でしか見たことがございません。
写真で見る限り、無防備でこの上なく可愛らしいのですが、実際に僕の目で見たもの以外をトップに置くことは、どんなジャンルにおいてもできませんので、その姿に類似していようとも、kittyが今も見せてくれる、顔だけを天に向けた寝姿が一番でございます。嫉妬なんて言わないでくださいね。

kittyが一番眠たそうに見える昼過ぎあたり、寝返りのような感じなのでしょうか、首をぐいっと腕の中に突っ込むようにして、天を向きます。それから、しばらく停止。

そんなに首を捻って気持ちの良いのだろうか、側から見ます僕にはそう見えるのですが、長くkittyを観察していますと、度々この姿を見せてくれるので、気持ち良いか、なにか他に理由があるのでしょうね。

可愛らしい、というだけで深く追求しようとしたことがない僕でございますので、今これを書きながら、怠け者だなあと思います。
が、可愛らしい、というだけにしておきたい、そう感じる僕もにょきにょき現れてきましたので、調べることはやめておきます。
可愛らしいので。

僕は基本的に天に顔を向けて寝ておりますが、それを下に向けようとも、そのまま天に向けていようと、なんの可愛らしさもございません。
こんな無駄な比較をしたくなるほどに、kittyのその可愛らしさは、不思議な魅力なのでしょう。

寝ても覚めても、魅力を放ち続けるkitty。
なんてことでしょう。

The cutest posture of kitty for me is when he is sleeping facing the ceiling.

He was around two when I met him for the first time, so I haven’t seen him sleeping upside down like human. I saw him doing so only in pictures.
I’d like to say that is one of the cutest ones too, but I couldn’t put the thing on top which you don’t actually see in any genres, and then I’d say his current sleeping posture facing the ceiling is the cutest. Don’t call this jealousy, please.

I don’t know if that is rolling over or not, but he screws his head round and stops for a while. Of course he is asleep.

I guess he feels comfortable by doing that because I can often see this one, but I don’t really know if it is comfortable or not. I tried the same one before but.. He definitely feels comfortable or something maybe?

I feel I’m lazy at pursuing the reason why he does that, but on the other hand I also feel his cuteness is supposed to stay cute as he is. I won’t look for the reason then.

I usually sleep facing the ceiling and sometimes upside down, but there is no cuteness for sure. His cuteness is cute enough to have me compare like this. Such a useless comparison.

He is charming even when he is awake or asleep. Wonderful.
