April 18, 2023: Blue Mood, Bleeding from the bottom (4/6)（暗い気分、下血（4/6））

Two days after I bled from the bottom, I went to a hospital about a fifteen-minute drive from my flat. It is one of the major hospitals in my town. As I had heard it would be busy with a lot of outpatients, I arrived at around 7:30 am and waited for the receptionist to unlock the door and let the outpatients in. So, I was the second patient to be registered. Then, while I was expecting to see a gastroenterologist very soon, I waited in a chair for him to call me. Contrary to my expectations, I had to wait about two hours before I was called. Other outpatients who had already had an appointment with him had priority over me.
When I saw the gastroenterologist, I gave him a referral letter from another doctor and explained in detail to him that I had bled from the bottom two days ago. As a result, he asked me to have a blood test and an abdominal CT scan. So, I moved to an examining room to have them. The room was also so crowded that I had to await a long time before I had the tests. After having the tests, I went back to him. After checking the results, he asked me to have a gastroscopy and a large bowel endoscopy. So I decided to have them five days and a week later, respectively. In the end, he did not tell me anything definite, and I had to go back home with anxiety.

　下血から2日後に、家から車で15分くらいのところにある病院に行きました。この病院はボクの街では規模の大きい病院の一つで混みそうだったので、朝の7時半に病院に到着して、開錠を待ちました。おかげで、受付番号は2番目でした。その後、受付が早かったので、すぐに診察してもられると期待しながら、椅子に座って消化器外科医に呼ばれるのを待ちました。でも、期待に反して、呼ばれるのに2時間かかりました。事前予約ある人が優先されたためです。
　医師に、クリニックでもらった診断書を渡すと同時に下血した時の状況を詳しく説明しました。その結果、血液検査とCT検査を受けるように言われ、検査室に移動しました。この検査室がめちゃくちゃ混んでいて、結構待たされました。ようやく、検査を終えて、再診察となったのですが、結局、さらに詳細な検査が必要と言われました。そして、土曜日に胃カメラを翌週の月曜日に大腸のカメラ検査を受けることになりました。
　結局、この日も、不安を抱えたまま帰宅することになりました。
