<Today's beer>4 Pines Brewing Nitro Stout
12/6/2020 Fri.
【Day 85】
It’s “Happy Fri-yay”, so my wife bought and brought home the bottles. She said she wanted something different from usual.
4 Pines Brewing Nitro Stout
ABV 5.1%
IBU 40
It’s stout but tastes crispier than I thought. And I could feel roast flavor at the same time. I heard that it’s the same recipe as an original stout from 4 pines, that I haven’t tried yet, but it’s added nitro which makes it fuller-bodied and creamier version stout.
It went well with bolognese pasta that I cooked for a diner. I also have Young Henrys Newtowner Pale Ale in the fridge, but I chose Nitro and I felt I was correct.
When I almost emptied the bottle, I saw the neck of the bottle and realized the words.
“Flip it, pour it hard”
Oops, I didn’t do that at all. I poured it so gently. That’s not good.
I thought I couldn’t say that I knew the taste of it perfectly. So I tried to grab another bottle, but my wife didn’t allow it.
If I had one more bottle and drank it appropriately, I would have had different tasting report here...
