Encourage

On the same floor at work, I have just one colleague who is the same age as me. He’s been with the company three years longer than I have, is very hardworking, reliable, and has more responsibilities compared to others of our generation. I think this company tends to burden younger generation like us almost without our permission, as if it’s already decided and we couldn’t disagree. Some might see it’s a sign of trust from the boss, but I guess it’s due to the shortage of employees, the wave of retirements among the older generation. They’re rushing; they have to develop our generation quickly into accomplished employees. But it won’t solve the actual cause. They just put a bigger label on us than we really are, but they don’t show us the way and our work remains mostly the same as before. Umm, complicated.

He’s like a professional person in development and is needed by the company. But I hope he can achieve what he truly wants to do, a lovely dream in life. I'll go ahead, one step closer to my own dream.
