[5/26] TOEIC結果

Today, I found out the results of the TOEIC exam that I took on May 26, and I'll share it with you to track my progress and stay motivated :)

800+ was the goal for 2023,
managed to achieve it 💫

TOTAL : 820 ( Listening : 435, Reading : 385 )

OMG, the reading section…!

The score in the listening section was as expected. But what happened in the reading section! Well, I know, I know progress isn't always linear. I had hoped for a higher score with little dedication to the TOEIC exam as I wanted to see my authentic English skills. But yeah, this thought seemed naive.

While a 20 point increase may not seem significant, it's still progress, all in all.

Just remember, a single score doesn't define your skills and potential.

点数を見た時の第一声は「なんでやね〜ん」
Reading、ショックだ。下がってしもうたぜ。

今回は、abceedも課金せず、黒フレ7割程度、公式問題集一周しか TOEIC に向けた勉強は行いませんでした。英検準一級も受けたし、英語日記は続けているし、自然と点数は上がるでしょう！と見込んだ私が愚かでしたね…

やっぱり試験の点数を上げようと思うと、試験用の対策がいるもんですね。
これについては反省です。

受験歴を振り返ってみると、ずっと伸び悩んでいた Listening にやっと兆しが見えてきたかな…？これにはちょっとだけ満足かも？

自己ベストではあったし、、まぁ良しとしますか。

次の受験はいつになるだろうか、ワーホリ前ラスト受けるかな。
でもな〜、やっぱり Speaking を伸ばすべきなので、TOEICの点数ばかりに固執しないようにしたい。（どうしても伸ばしたくなっちゃうけど！）
