タフなインタビュー

語学学校の宿題でインタビューをした時の話。
これは確かにタフだった。
なかなかインタビュー引き受けてもらえないし、声をかけるのも躊躇していたよ。なつかし。
※2015年ごろの話です。

先月の事だが、コミュニケーションクラスでインタビューをやった。
I had interviews in communication class last month.
J'ai passé d'interviews en classe de communication le mois dernier.

インタビューとは、道行く人に声をかけ、あるトピックに関する質問10個をするものだ。しかもノルマは10人。
I interviewed unknown people who were in the city for 10 questions about a certain topic. Besides, the number of quota is ten.
J'ai interviewé des personnes inconnues que je trouvais dans la rue.
De plus, le nombre de quotas était de dix.

トピックはグループごとに決め、我々はフェスティバルにした。
We had made 3 groups, and then our group determined that our topic was festival.
Nous avions formé trois groupes, puis notre groupe a décidé que notre thème était le festival.

どのフェスティバルが好きかとか、どんなフェスティバルがあるかとか、海外のフェスティバルを知っているかとか、色々聞いた。
I have asked several questions such as what your favourite festival is, what kind of festivals Australia has, whether you know foreign festivals and so on.
J'ai posé plusieurs questions : quel est votre festival préféré, quel type de festival existe en Australie, connaissez-vous des festivals étrangers, etc.

まぁ、これは日本語でもやるのはきついよね。
This activity was really tough even if I could use Japanese.
Cette activité était vraiment difficile, même si je pouvais utiliser le japonais.

最初に適当に声かけた暇そうな人にインタビューを断られたので、戦略を立てた。
I had been refused to interview from whom I spoke to at the first time, and then I made some strategies.

子どもを連れてる大人。
First target is an adult with their children.
La première cible est un adulte avec ses enfants.

外国人がカタコトの英語で話かけてきているのに、子どもの手前、冷たく突き放すわけにはいかないだろう。
They would not deny my request in front of their children if a foreigner spoke to them in broken English.

次に年配の方々。特におばちゃん。
Next targets are elder people, especially women.
Les prochaines cibles sont les personnes âgées, en particulier les femmes.

おばちゃんは大体話好きと、どこの国も相場は決まっている。
Elder women generally like talking in the whole world.

ただ注意したいのは、年配の人らは訛りがキツく、何を言っているのか聞き取れないこともある。
I need to pay attention for their strong accents because I often cannot catch what they say.

トピックが決まっているので、出てくる単語も事前に予測ができたこともあり、何とか無難にこなせましたとさ。
I could have guessed what they would say because I had already known the topic, so that I managed to interview.
