わたしのために人々があなたがたをののしり、また迫害し、
あなたがたに対し偽って様々の悪口を言う時には、あなたがたは、さいわいである。

信仰者は、キリスト信仰のために迫害されても大胆に神の愛を表明します。

1. joy and reward: being persecuted is a source of joy for believers and a confirmation of their reward in heaven.
2. Perseverance and strengthening of faith: persecution is an opportunity to test the believer's patience and strengthen his faith.
3. solidarity with the prophets: persecution is not new, and the faithful can feel part of a larger lineage of faith, as prophets in the past have had the same experience.
4. trust in God's justice: despite injustice and hardship on earth, believers can trust in God's justice and ultimate victory.
I pray for God's help to trust in His love and power and to find joy in the face of persecution and hardship.
