どうも、けこぜろです。

ここ数日、11月らしからぬ暖かさですね。
本来の冬の寒さは一体どこに行ったのでしょうか。
冬らしさを感じる点としては、乾燥のためか喉が痛いのが困りますね。
でも祝日の昨日、龍角散ののど飴舐めまくったらだいぶマシにはなりました。

喉の痛みといえば、僕が好きで最近聴きまくっているBring Me The Horizonの初期の曲とかすごいです。
高い声だったり低い声だったり、多様な声で叫びまくっているのが衝撃的でしたね。
僕自身の英語力がイマイチなため、元々聴き取れなかった歌詞が全く分かりません。

ということで、今回もまたBring Me The Horizonの音楽を紹介します。
この前のフェスでも歌ってくれた、アルバム『Sempiternal』より『The House of Wolves』についてです。

Bring Me The Horizon『The House of Wolves』

『The House of Wolves』はBring Me The Horizonの4枚目のアルバム『Sempiternal』の2曲目です。
今年で10周年を迎えたアルバムで、初めて聴いた時はヘビーなサウンドに圧倒されてしまいました。
ですが、1曲目の『Can You Feel My Heart』や『Go To Hell, For Heaven's Sake』『Shadow Moses』などは結構好きですね。

『The House of Wolves』は冒頭でも触れましたが、今月初めに行われた「NEX_FEST」でも歌ってくれました。
イントロを聴いただけでは何の曲か分からず、最後まで何となく聴いたことのある曲という印象でした。
ちゃんと曲を聴いてから臨めば良かったですね。
特にコーラスの「Brick by brick by brick」を一緒に歌えなかったのが結構悔しかったですね。
もったいない思いをした曲な印象でした。

そんな『The House of Wolves』ですが、Bring Me The Horizon初期のヘヴィメタルな曲調です。
イントロから勢いのあるギターで始まり、その後も激しいまま曲が進行していきます。
曲としては激しいですが、サビのコーラスがメロディアスで本当に印象的ですね。
結構好きな曲です。
