Apple Musicに加入するようになってから聴くようになった、Bring Me The Horizonのアルバム『Sempiternal』が今日で発売10周年を迎えたようです。
このアルバムは結構尖った雰囲気の曲が多い印象です。
まさにメタルといった感じで、どの曲も頭を振りたくなりますね。
以前、このアルバムに収録されている『Shadow Moses』について語りました。

ということで、今回はBring Me The Horizonの『Shadow Moses』について。
改めて語ろうと思います。

Bring Me The Horizon『Shadow Moses』

そのタイトル、歌詞、ミュージックビデオ、イントロとアウトロから『メタルギアソリッド』にインスパイアされていることが丸わかりですね。
かつての僕は気づきもしなかったのが不思議なのですが、改めて『Shadow Moses』の良さを感じています。
個人的には『Sempiternal』の中で1番好きな曲かもしれません。
歌詞の中にアルバムタイトルが含まれていますし、ある意味では表題作なのかもしれませんね。

ライブバージョンではがっつり『メタルギアソリッド』の主題歌『The Best Is Yet To Come』を歌っているのが最高です。

激しいギターもいいですし、心に響く歌詞がまた最高です。
そして何と言ってもサビでアルバムタイトルを叫ぶのがいいんですよね。
サウンドとしては重いのですが、紛れもない名曲であると感じています。

こんな感じで、Bring Me The Horizonの『Shadow Moses』の紹介でした。
大好きなゲーム『メタルギアソリッド』インスパイアというのもまたいいですし、Bring Me The Horizonの音楽としても最高に好きな1曲です。
静かにテンションの上がる曲なんですよね。
アルバム『Sempiternal』10周年記念にまた聴きたくなりました。
