【童話】メリーちゃん

メリーちゃんは歌が上手でした。

あまりにも上手なので
その歌を聞いて

偉そうな大男が泣き出したり
自閉症の子ともが笑い出したり

今にも死にそうな老人が怒り出したり
お喋りなお嬢さんが黙ってしまったり

そんなふうに
いろいろ奇妙なことが起こるのでした。

そんなある日のことです。

メリーちゃんの歌を聞いた王様が
メリーちゃんの首をギロチンに掛けました。

それは本当に奇妙なことだったので

まったくこれには
みんな驚いてしまったそうです。

Mary-chan was good at singing.

Because she is so good,
a big man who seems to be great begins to cry,
a child with autism laughs,
an old man who is about to die is angry,
a talking young girl is silent,
like various strange things happened
by listening to her song.

One day like that.

The king who listened to Mary's song
hung her neck on the guillotine.
