【SS】今度こそ

弓道の基本動作に「射法八節」がある。

足踏み：的に向かって両足を踏み開く。
胴造り：両脚の上に上体を安静に置く。
弓構え：矢を番えて弓を引く前の構え。
打起し：弓矢を持った両拳を上に持ち上げる。
引分け：弓を押し弦を引き、両拳を開きながら引き下ろす。
会：弓を引き切り、矢は的を狙う。
離れ：矢を放つ。
残心：矢が放たれた後の姿勢。

そうやって射たのだが、また的を外してしまった。

「お嬢様。いい加減になさいませ」
婆やが私をたしなめる。
「これで五人目でございますよ」

今日だけで、私への求婚者が五人も亡くなったのだ。

求婚者は正座させられ、頭頂にリンゴを載せられ　
その的の置台になってもらう。

途中で逃げたり、リンゴを落としたりしたら、失格。

甲矢と乙矢の二本一組で一手というが、その一手二射で　
私がリンゴを射抜くことができたら、合格。

リンゴが射抜かれず、かつ勇気と恋心と命が残っておれば　
再度挑戦のための順番を待つことになる。

あまりに前近代的な仕組みであるが、仕方ない。
これが我が総領家の婿選びの儀式なのだ。

私は目を閉じ、再び射位に立つ。

This Time

The basic movement of the archery is the "shooting eight."

Stepping: Step on both sides towards the target.
Build the torso: Rest your upper body on both legs.
Bow holding: Holding the arrow before holding the bow.
Provocation: Lift up both fists with bow and arrow.
Draw: Push the bow,
pull the string, pull down while opening both fists.

Away: Shoot an arrow.
Attenuation: Posture after the arrow is released.
