毎晩、棺の中で眠る姫がいた。

死んだように熟睡できるという。
ベッドの上では眠れないのだそうだ。

姫のわがままを王は許していた。

ある朝、棺の中で姫は死んでいた。
「なんと、このまま埋められるぞ」

冗談好きな医師は首をはねられた。

姫の亡骸はベッドの上に移された。
王は泣き、白いシーツが濡れた。

すると突然、姫が跳ね起きた。
「だから、よく死ねないのよ！」

Princess in the Coffin

There was a princess sleeping every night in the coffin.

She seems to be able to sleep as if dead.
She seems to be unable to sleep on bed.

The king forgave the princess's selfishness.

One morning the princess was dead in the coffin.
"How, we can fill her like this"

This joked favorite doctor was torn off his neck.

The princess's dead body was transferred to the bed.
The king wept and the white sheet got wet.

Suddenly, the princess jumped up.
"So, I can not die well!"
