【論説】幻獣エゾルグ

幻獣とは伝説でしか存在しない動物。
剥製も骨格標本も化石さえ存在しない。

エゾルグはじつに不思議な幻獣である。
まず、どんな姿なのかよくわかってない。

腰でつながった一卵性双生児の人魚だとか
翼のある双頭の龍なのに豚鼻であるとか

鶏頭牛尾だとか、口が虎で肛門が狼だとか
定説はない。

つまり、なんでもありなのだ。
見る者によって異なって映るようだ。

また、エゾルグの生態も不可解である。

オスとメスの他に第三の性があるという。
この第三の性をウスと呼ぶ。

オス、メス、ウス、三頭で一組になる。

三つ巴というか、三位一体というか　
どの一頭が欠けても交尾が成立しない。

そして交尾直後、ウスはオスとメスに食べられてしまう。
これはなにかの象徴であろうか。

さらに、エゾルグほど恐れられる幻獣も少ない。

その出現は大災害の前兆とされる。
火山の噴火、地震、津波、竜巻、疫病。

幸い、人前に現れることは滅多にない。

それから、エゾルグにも天敵がいる。
これがいわゆる幻獣エグゼソである。

ただし、残念ながら
エグゼソの内容はほとんど伝わっていない。

ゆえに、まったくの幻獣と言えよう。

Phantom Beast Ezorg

Phantom beast is an animal that exists only in legend.
Neither stuff nor skeletal specimen exist even fossil.

Ezorg is a mysterious phantom beast.

First of all, we do not know well what kind of figure it is.

Although it is said that
it is a mermaid of an identical twin connected by the waist,
a double headed winged dragon, a pig nose,
a chicken head bull tail,
a mouth a tiger and an anus a wolf,
but there is no dogma.

In other words, there is everything.
It seems to differ depending on the viewer.

Ezorg's ecology is also incomprehensible.

There is a third sex in addition to male and female.
This third sex is called mus.

Male, female, mus, three in pair.

It is said that it is called "three-way" or "three-nation",
although mating is not established even if one of them lacks.

Immediately after mating, mus is eaten by male and female.

Is this a symbol of something?

In addition,
there are few phantom beasts feared as much as Ezorg.

Its appearance is said to be a precursor to a catastrophe.
Volcano eruption, earthquake, tsunami, tornado, plague.

Fortunately, seldom appear in public.

Ezorg also has a natural enemy.
This is so-called phantom beast Exeso.

Unfortunately, however, the content of Exeso is unknown.
Therefore, it can be said that it is totally phantom beast.
