【SS】雨宿り

急に雨が降ってきた。

窓辺で雨音を聴いていると
見知らぬ女が軒下に駆け込んできた。

雨宿りだな、と思った。

庭も垣根もなく、軒下があるだけ。
雨宿りに都合いいのだ。

「お嬢さん、家の中に入りませんか」
窓から首を出し、誘ってみた。

若い女は笑顔でこたえた。
「いいえ、結構です」

そうだろうな、と思った。
世の中そんなに甘くない。

「では、これを使いなさい」
雨傘を差し出してやった。

「あとで返してもらえばいいから」

女は雨傘を受け取ってくれた。
「すみません。ありがとうございます」

なかなか素直な性格ではないか。

「明日、必ず返します」
「いつでも結構ですよ」

その雨傘を差し、若い女は立ち去った。

でも、おそらく彼女、返してくれないだろうな。
自爆装置付きの雨傘なんか。
　

Rain Shelter

It began to rain suddenly.

While listening to the rain sounds at the window side,
a strange woman ran into the eaves.

I thought she wanted to take shelter from the rain.

There is no garden and no fence here,
only the eaves are there.

It's convenient for sheltering from the rain.

"Miss, will not you go inside the house?"

"No, thanks."

I thought that she would say so.
It is not so sweet all over the world.

"Then, use this."
I offered an umbrella.

"You only have me return it later."

The woman accepted an umbrella.
"Thank you very much."

Is not she quite naive personality?

"I will return it tomorrow."
"It is fine anytime."

The young woman walked away with the umbrella.

But probably she will not return it,
an umbrella with a suicide bomber.
