マリコちゃんが踊っています。

上手なのか下手なのか
よくわかりません。

とにかく
踊るのが楽しくて仕方ないみたい。

そんなマリコちゃんを眺めている人がいます。

椅子に座っているおじいさんです。
眺めているのが楽しくてたまらないみたい。

そのおじいさんが
おもむろに立ち上がりました。

片足をあげ、次に両手をあげました。
それから、とまどった表情になりました。

おじいさんの肩がひとつ、床に落ちたのです。

苦労して肩を拾いあげると
おじいさんは椅子に腰をおろしました。

マリコちゃんはまだ踊り続けています。

ちょっと大人びたしぐさも見せたりします。
それがまたかわいらしいのでした。

おじいさんがマリコちゃんを眺めています。
ちょっと哀しそうなまなざしで。

One of the old man's shoulders fell to the floor.

After struggling to pick up his shoulder,
the old man sat down in his chair.
