【ミステリー】雪国つらら殺人事件

雪国で独り暮らしの老人が殺された。
つららを凶器とする殺人事件だった。

「刺さっとるな」
「んだ。刺さっとる」

隣家の村長と近所に住む駐在の会話である。

「屋根から下がってたつららが落ちたんだな」
「んだ。そんでその真下に寝てた」

「寄り合いで、えらく酔ってたもんなあ」
「んだ。酒が弱いくせに飲むのは好きだで」

「事故だな」
「んだ。事故だ」

「でも、事故じゃつまんねえな」
「んだ。村おこしになんねえ」

「話題性が必要だんべ」
「んだ。雪国つらら殺人事件とかな」

こうして証拠品として落ちたつららは没収され、
それを落とした屋根は駐在に逮捕された。

さて、それからどうなったかと言うと

しばらくは世間の話題になったようだが
さすがに村おこしとまではならなかったようだ。

Snow Country Icicle Murder Case

An old man living alone was killed in the snow country.

by the police officer.
