【童話】戴冠式

ライオンのところに
黄金の王冠が届きました。

「百獣の王たる者へ」
と手紙が添えてあります。

誰からの贈り物なのか不明ですが
ライオンは大喜び。

さっそく王冠を頭に載せてみました。

「威厳があります」
「とても偉そうでございます」

なかなか評判です。

でも、ライオンの頭が大きすぎて
動くと王冠が転がり落ちてしまいます。

王の威厳を保つため
ライオンはほとんど動けなくなりました。

家来たちの話を聞いて指示を出したり
でなかったら眠ってばかり。

そういうわけで、それからというもの
獣たちはライオンを恐れる必要がなくなりました。

誰が贈ったのか、いまだに謎ですが
それはともかく

めでたし、めでたし。
　

Coronation Ceremony

A golden crown reached the lion.

"To you who is the king of all beasts"
Such a letter is attached.

but the lion is delighted.

He tried putting the crown on his head.

But, the head of the lion is too big
and the crown falls as it moves.

the lion can hardly move.
