楽な商売は少ないだろうが、交換屋も楽じゃない。
交換できそうもないものを交換するのが仕事だ。

今日もまた、どんどん難しい注文が入ってくる。

「古女房を新しいのと換えてくれ」
「カモシカのような脚にしたいのだけれど」
「家の方角が悪いから、直してよ」

こんな注文は、まだいい方だ。
とりあえず不可能ではないのだから。

とにかく非常識な注文が多すぎる。

「やばくて、指紋を取り換えないと。あっ、性別と人種も」
「うちのバカ息子の脳を、天才児の脳にしてちょうだい」
「こんな星、いいかげん住み飽きたからさ」
「宇宙の切れ目をつまんで、次元の表裏を交換しろ」

まったくもう、こっちこそ商売を交換したいよ。
