子どもと創作　Creation with my child

１. 工作がもたらした成長
How creation has been inspiring my child

何だか時々、創作意欲が湧いて、子どもと色々なものを創って遊ぶことがある。I've been creating handmade toys with my child since she was a baby.

今回はハロウィン。
This time is Halloween.

いつも、特別にこだわって創っているわけではないが、なんとなく、子供と一緒にすることだから、脳みそのリミッターを外して、豊かに、自由にやるようにしている。
I admit that I am not good at drawing nor creating things, but I try to eliminate the limitation of my brain work to be able to imagine things as freely and creatively as my daughter can.

娘が赤ちゃんの頃は、私が創るのを横で見ていた。なんでも、喜んでくれていた。When she was a baby, she was just looking at what I was creating. And she loved whatever I created.

１歳の頃は、もはや原形も完成形分からないほどぐしゃぐしゃにされていた。そして、なんでも喜んでくれていた。
When she was 1, she pulled, teared, threw and crashed everything she could reach. And she loved whatever I created.

２歳の頃は、私が座って何かを始めようとしたら、確実に5秒以内に上から殴り書きをされていた。そして、なんでも喜んでくれていた。
When she was 2, she started drawing lines all over my crafts within 5 seconds I sat at the table to start creating something. And she loved whatever I created.

３歳になった今、彼女は、自分でおままごと、お買い物、ドクター、おじさん（大工さんのこと）、歯磨き屋さん等々、発想豊かに自分で遊びを創るようになった。欲しいものを自分で創り、人を使って創り（笑）、ファンタジーの世界を、日常生活に取り入れている。
Now, she is 3 years old, and she invents, designs, and creates her favorite play and toys by herself such as  pretending chef, shop, doctor, carpenter, dentist, and more. She sometimes requests her parents to make things she wants. Like this, she enjoys the world of her imagination now.

要望のレベルが上がって、絵心も工作センスも無い私の、こんなのでいいのかと思いながら創る作品を、娘は今もなんでも喜んでくれる。
What she wants get more complicated nowadays, and as I said, I've never been good at drawing nor creating crafts. However, I try and she still seems to love anything I create with her.

ハロウィンの絵を描きながら、ふと子どもとの創作の日々が、彼女の成長に繋がっていることに気がついた日だった。
While drawing the pictures of Halloween, I noticed how our days of creation have been inspiring my 3 year old daughter.

2. 3歳とは...　What 3 year olds are like...

気に入ったものであれば、風船であれ、ペンであれ、ぬいぐるみであれ、ボールであれ、折り紙であれ、メモ帳であれ、とにかくとりあえずその日は一緒に寝る3歳。
She is the age of sleeping with anything she likes on that day: a balloon, pen, stuffed bear, ball, origami, or even notebook.  

なぜか、ヘアゴムがおままごとのパンケーキになる3歳。
I don't know how it works, but her hairbands could be pancakes in her imagination.

泣き叫んで、どうしようにもなく困ることもあるけれど（実際には、いつもなだめ、気をそらすために色々やってみている）、７歩くらい下がって、娘の行動を観察しながら彼女の頭の中を想像してみると、思わず笑ってしまうほど面白いこともある。
Sometimes, she cries and screams and I just don't know what to do (I am actually always doing something to calm or distract her...). But when I observe her behaviors and imagine what is going on in her head from a distance of 3 meters, it makes me smile.

3歳。最高だ。

3. 後日起きたこと...What happened later...

後日、創作意欲が湧いた娘が、静かに集中して何かに取り組んでいる後ろ姿をチラ見だけして、ふむふむ何かに集中しているなら、邪魔しないでおこう、とそっとしておいた10分後、、、
Later, my daughter was motivated and was working on something. She concentrated on "the" something, so I left her alone without disturbing her work. Then, 10 minutes later, I found out...

！？Σ（ﾟдﾟlll）こ、これは、まさか壁紙クロス！？ち、賃貸なのに！！

おままごとのコーヒーを作るために、壁紙を破って材料にしていた。
発想が豊かなのにも、程がある。
修繕費用はいくら請求されるのだろう。。。( ；∀；)
高くついたな、このコーヒー。と思いながら、親はおままごとのお客さんをするのだった。
This... this is a part of the wallpaper of our apartment for rent！？Σ（ﾟдﾟlll）
She ripped off the wallpaper to pretend coffee shop. 
I wonder how much will be billed for this... :(
My husband and I cannot help think about the "price" of the coffee when we pretend customers.
