今回は、Sarah Proctor の The Breaks をご紹介したいと思います！

この曲は、多くの困難が襲ってくる大変な状況の中でなす術もなく、疲労し、助けを求める様を描いてますが、ただ疲れや苦しさを訴えるのではなく、世界のどこかで自分と同じように苦労しながら一日一日を生き抜いている人がいるんだという安らぎを与えてくれます。サビでのピアノの美しい旋律が疲れた心と体を癒し、切実な歌詞に共感できる一曲です。

The breaks symbolises the need to find peace and stillness in amongst the craziness of life, when it can all get a little too much.
(The Breaks は、たまにクレイジーになりすぎる人生において、平和と静けさを見つけることの必要性を象徴しています。)

Believing in yourself is sometimes the hardest thing, and something I struggle with a lot at times, but it’s the moments of faith in yourself that can give you the Strength to get through all the ups and downs...and taking a minute to just breath and start again when something doesn’t quite work out the first time. 🌊
