オンライン宿泊 始めます

今年3月に入り、新型コロナウィルス感染拡大を防ぐため、wayaを休業しました。正直にお伝えすると、人が集まり、交流する場を価値だと思い、生み出し続けてきたので、この状況下でどうすればいいかわかりませんでした。
「人を集めてはいけない」
これは私たちにとって、とても大きな壁となったのです。

先日、私が和歌山県にあるゲストハウス”WhyKumano”のオンライン宿泊に参加しました。 その体験を心から楽しんだことで、「オンライン宿泊を通して、世界中の人がまるで日本、そしてwayaにいるような体験をできるはずだ」と確信しました。これがきっかけとなり、オンライン宿泊を始めることになりました。

オンライン宿泊って何?

Zoomを用いてオンライン上でwayaに皆さんをご招待します。
私たちスタッフや他のゲストと一緒に、ゲストハウスの空間を楽しんでいるかのような体験をオンライン上で作り上げます。

＜オンライン宿泊体験の流れ＞
①事前にGoogleフォームに必要事項を記入していただきます。
②オンライン上でチェックインを行います。（zoomを通してwayaをご案内します。）
③Google mapを活用して、wayaの近く、札幌近郊で皆さんが訪れるべき場所のご案内をします。
④Google mapを活用して、皆さんがいる場所へも飛んでいきます。
⑤ラウンジスペースでの時間を楽しみましょう。

費用

1,000円
＊この費用には、次回wayaに宿泊していただく時に500円割引させていただくことも特典として入っております。未来に会う約束をしましょう。

スケジュール

今後の日程に関しましてはもう数日お待ちください。
５月２２日（金）１９：３０〜２１：３０でプレ宿泊体験を無料で行います。
先着１２名までとなっておりますので、ご希望の方は件名に「〇〇(名前)、オンライン宿泊希望」と書いていただき、 "waya.guesthouse@gmail.com"までご連絡ください。
参加される方は、SNS（FB, twitter,IG）やnoteなどに感想を書いていただくことをお願いさせていただきます。文字数などはございません。写真をSNSで公開させていただきますので、顔を写されたくない方は事前にお知らせください。

最後に

私たち全員が今大変な状況に直面しながら、それぞれのベストを尽くしています。この状況を手と手を取り合って、一緒に乗り越えていくことが大切です。それと同時に、私たちは、楽しみにできるような、未来の明るい側面も必要だと信じています。
私たちは、wayaが皆さんが将来訪れるのを楽しみにできる場所になれるように、オンライン宿泊を始めます。皆さんにすぐに会えること、そしてまるで隣にいるような時間一緒に楽しめることを待ち望んでいます。

We have started “Virtual Waya Hostel ”

Since March, we have closed Waya in order to prevent new infections of COVID-19. To be honest, because we have created a place where people can meet and mingle, we did not know what to do in this situation. We think it’s something of value that we can offer, however, we can not let people come under these circumstances.
The other day, one of our staff joined “Online Hostel” which is offered by a Guest House named “WhyKumano” in the Wakayama prefecture in Japan. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it gave him a light bulb moment.
“Why don’t we start “Virtual Waya Hostel” for everyone all over the world and have everyone who will join us feel as if they were at our hostel and in Japan?”
That is why we are starting “Virtual Waya Hostel” from now on.

What is “Virtual Waya Hostel”?

We will use “zoom” and invite you to Virtual Waya Hostel.
We will give you an experience as if you were staying at Waya Hostel and can enjoy our lounge space with other guests and staff.
The flow of experience “Virtual Waya Hostel”
①We will send you a Google Form to fill out before you join.
②In traditional Waya Style, we will start with a check in (We will introduce Waya Hostel thorough zoom)
③We will introduce you to places you should visit in our neighbourhood, as well as in and around Sapporo using Google maps
④Using Google Maps, we will “jump” to where you are
⑤Let’s enjoy time together in our lounge space.

Cost

1,000 JPY
*Included is a 500 JPY discount ticket for your stay in Waya Hostel next time you come visit us. Let’s make a promise to meet up someday in the near future.

Schedule

Please wait a few days to be updated on the complete schedule.
However, we will offer our grand opening of “Virtual Waya Hostel” for free on the 22nd of May from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. We will welcome 12 people on a first come first served basis.
Please contact us through “waya.guesthouse@gmail.com” with your name and the message of “Virtual Waya Hostel” as the subject if you would like to stay with us.
If you join us, we would like for you to post about how it was and how you felt afterwards on a social media of your choice. It doesn’t matter how many words you write. Please let us know beforehand if you do not wish to have your face posted on social media beforehand.

Last

We all are faced with a really harsh situation right now and everyone does their best. It is important to get through this situation, hand in hand with each other. At the same time, we do believe we need to look on the bright side for our futures and have tried to make something you are looking for. We hope that we are able to be the something that you are looking for and so we created “Virtual Waya Hostel.” Hopefully, we can meet you soon and enjoy some time together as if we were right next to each other.
