東京発-土曜日の大雨の後、東京西部の町の家並みに、大量の黒い水とがれきを運ぶ強力な土砂崩れが衝突し、少なくとも19人が行方不明になったと当局者は語った。
温泉で知られる熱海には、何十軒もの家が埋葬されていたのかもしれません。静岡県のスポークスマン、杉山隆道氏は語った。
公共放送NHKは行方不明者数を20人と発表したが、杉山氏は、数は増えるかもしれないと述べたが、県は少なくとも19人を確認したと述べた。
今週初めから、集中豪雨が日本の一部を襲った。専門家は、谷や山でいっぱいの国では土がほぐれ、地滑りのリスクが高まったと述べた。
杉山さんは、午前中はこの地域で大雨が降っていたと語った。自衛隊は救助活動に消防士と警察に加わるだろうと彼は付け加えた。広範囲に避難警報が発令された。
地滑りは、車とほぼ同じ速さで、何度も襲ったように見えました。映像は、強力な黒い土砂崩れが山腹を滑り降り、家を倒して押しつぶし、途中で車を一掃する様子を示していました。無力な隣人は恐怖で見ていました、彼らの電話でいくつかの録音。
