Memory in my hometown

今回はお盆の帰省の思い出について軽く英語で書いてみようと思います。
自分の英語が正しいか確認するために、作った英文をGoogle翻訳に突っ込んだものも載せておくので、そちらもご参照ください。

During "Obon" season, I went back to my hometown, Niigata prefecture.
During this time, I had a lot of experiences and they became great memories for me, so I'd like to share with you this memories.

My memories that I've experienced in Niigata are as follows.

• My mother's parent's home

• Food

• Nature

I'll show you these memories one by one with my favorite pics I took in my hometown.

お盆の時期に故郷の新潟県に帰省したのですが、この間色々な経験をさせていただき、とても良い思い出になりましたので、その思い出をシェアしたいと思います。
私が新潟で体験した思い出は以下の通りです。

My mother's parent's home

In my mother's parent's home, there are three cats in there.
Their names are "Sari", "Acchi", "Kocchi".
Below pictures are "Sari". Other cats are so shy and I could not take their picture, actually.
"Sari" has so cute face, but she is so carefree. It's hard to touch her and take some pictures as well.

日本語訳：
母の実家には猫が３匹います。
名前は「さり」「あっち」「こっち」。
下の写真は「サリー」です。
他の猫はとても恥ずかしがり屋で、実際には写真を撮ることができませんでした。
「サリ」はとても可愛い顔なのに、とても屈託のない性格です。
彼女に触れたり、写真を撮ったりするのも難しいです。

Also at my mother's parent's home, I saw my grand mother.
My grand mother has the symptom of dementia and her memory is getting worse.
But she doesn't forget me.
I thought that I should go back to my hometown and see her as much as possible not to be forgot me by her.

日本語訳：
母の実家にも祖母がいました。
私の祖母には認知症の症状があり、記憶力が低下しています。
しかし、彼女は私を忘れていません。
彼女に忘れられないように、できるだけ故郷に帰って会いに行こうと思いました。

Cafe

In Niigata, there are a lot of stylish cafes and we can enjoy tasty coffee in these cafe.
In these cafe, we can enjoy not only tasty coffee but also atmosphere.

Like below pic, you can chose coffee beans you like and buy it.

日本語訳：
新潟にはおしゃれなカフェがたくさんあり、おいしいコーヒーを楽しむことができます。
おいしいコーヒーだけでなく雰囲気も楽しめるカフェです。

下の写真のように、好みのコーヒー豆を選んで購入することができます。

And like below, you can enjoy the atmosphere. 
The atmosphere was like Japanese traditional one. 

日本語訳：
以下のように雰囲気も楽しめます。
雰囲気は日本の伝統的なものでした。

Of course, you can enjoy tasty coffee and sweet cake.
The combo of coffee and sweet cake is nothing better than that.

日本語訳：
もちろん美味しいコーヒーと甘いケーキもお楽しみいただけます。
コーヒーと甘いケーキの組み合わせは最高です。

Food

Niigata is famous with delicious sea food.
I enjoyed super delicious "Kaisendon" in Niigata.
Actually, Niigata has a lot of good restaurants, but it is very country side, these restaurants are not known by people.

I wonder if these restaurant can make the use of SNS and spread the goodness to whole world, not only Japanese people but also foreigners come Niigata and can enjoy delicious food in there.

日本語訳：
新潟は海の幸が美味しいことで有名です。
新潟で超美味しい「海鮮丼」を堪能してきました。
実は新潟には美味しいお店がたくさんあるのですが、とても田舎なのであまり知られていません。

日本人だけでなく外国人も新潟に来て美味しい料理を楽しめるお店として、SNSを活用してその良さを全世界に広めることはできないだろうか。

Nature

This one was most excited experience for me and what I've experienced made great memories.
I've experienced river rafting. (I'm not sure how can I say it in English but let me say river rafting at the moment…)
We can ride a boat and jump into the river as well.
This day was so hot (maybe 38 degree…), so this activity was really good at this time.
Though this activity, we can also enjoy the beautiful nature and I thought that I wanna do this in the future again.

日本語訳：
これは私にとって最も興奮した経験であり、私が経験したことは素晴らしい思い出になりました。
川下りを体験してきました。 （英語で何て言うか分かりませんが、とりあえずラフティングと言わせてください…）
ボートに乗ったり、川に飛び込むこともできます。
その日はとても暑かったので（おそらく38度…）、この時期にこのアクティビティは本当に良かったです。
このアクティビティですが、美しい自然も満喫できるので、またいつかやってみたいと思いました。
