★コンセプト concept★

年賀状のために、ネズミを取材して描いた作品です。
It is a work drawn by collecting mice for New Year's cards.

自分の好きなケーキと、ハリネズミをミックスした世界に、背景は星空をテーマに描きました。In the world where my favorite cake and hedgehogs are mixed, I painted the background with the theme of starry sky.

★ストーリー story★

まずは、ハリネズミの印象から。
First, from the impression of a hedgehog

ハリネズミの実際の姿や感触、雰囲気を確かめるために、ハリネズミカフェで抱っこしたり写真を撮ったして取材しました。

In order to confirm the actual appearance, feel, and atmosphere of the hedgehog, I carried it in the hedgehog cafe and took a picture of it.

毛の硬さは、人の手の爪くらい。爪楊枝の固さを想像していたので、多少柔らかいかな？？という印象でした。なんにしても、痛くはありました。
The hardness of the hair is about the nails of a human hand. I imagined the hardness of a toothpick, so I think it's a little soft. ? It was the impression that. Anyway, it was painful.

次は、本題の絵についてです。

ハリネズミの針をクリームに見立てるため、実際より曲げて、曲線として描いています。
To make the hedgehog needles look like cream, they are bent rather than actual and drawn as curves.

ロマンチックな雰囲気にしたくて、天の川を背景にしました。
I wanted to create a romantic atmosphere with the Milky Way in the background.

雰囲気を出すために、ロールケーキには星座を描きました。
To give the atmosphere, I drew a constellation on the roll cake.

可愛らしさを出すため、個人的に可愛い印象のあるいちごをデコレーション。
To bring out the cuteness, I decorated the strawberry with a cute personal impression.

ロマンチックさや可愛さが伝われば嬉しいです。
I'd be happy if it conveys the romantic and cuteness.
