MONTE is an old novelist in an electric wheelchair. He "writes about cowboys in the wild west" but he stopped writing after the death of his wife. However, he still has an imagination, "The most powerful force ever made available to humankind."
"A nine and a half years old" girl FINNEGAN watches curiously as MONTE, with the help of his nephew HENRY, moves into the house next to hers.
(MONTE enters the living room and briefly glances around)
MONTE (with a loud voice) Aaaaaaaah!
(outside the house)
FINNEGAN What's he yelling at?
HENRY Life.

迷惑にならないように叫びましょう。
ユーモアがあって、知恵があって、やさしさがあって、音楽もなかなかで、いろんな素敵なものが散りばめられた作品です。
ちょっと教育的すぎるところとか、話がうまくつながりすぎているところとか、すこし不自然なところとかありますが、そこは映画なのであまり気にしないようにしましょう。
大事なのは想像力です。 ワンッ!🐕
