初心者による英語日記３日目です

書き方

始める前に書き方の確認をしておきます

１，お題を発表して、それに沿うように書きたい日本語を書く
２，１をみて、内容に合うように英語を書いていく
３，１を英語訳する
４，２と３で違いを比べ、分析する
５，感想

それでは、今日も英語日記を始めていきたいと思います

１，日本語（お題も）

お題：今日勉強したこと
内容：今日は、ローマ史を勉強した。昼ご飯を食べた後に、「ローマの歴史」という本を読んだ。ストーリー展開が面白かった。この記事を書き終わった後は、続きを読もうと思っている。

２，英語

theme : something I studied today
contents :Today, I studied the history of Rome. After I ate lunch, I read the book named "the history of Rome". The way expanding the story of that book was fun. I am planning that If I finish writing this article, I read 続き of that book.

「続き」という単語が分からなかった。

３，1の英語翻訳

Subject: What I studied today
Description: Today, I studied Roman history. After having lunch, I read a book called "History of Rome". The storyline was interesting. After I finish writing this article, I am going to read the rest of the book.

４，分析

・「今日勉強したこと」の「こと」は、whatでよかった
・ローマ史は英語になおすと、Roman historyだった
・昼食後は、afetr having lunchでOK
・「という～」は「～called」
・「History of Rome」のHistoryの前にはtheはいらない
・ストーリー展開はstoryline
・「考えている」は、将来の予定だから、簡単にbe going toでいい
・「本の続き」は「本の残り」と読み替えていい。つまりthe rest of the bookとなる

５，感想

本の続きの「続き→残り」とするのは思いつきませんでした。

いいですね。これから使っていきたいです。
