シリコンバレーに近いサンフランシスコに次いで、イノベーション都市ランキングでは東京は2位になっています。一方で、人材ランキングでは東京は19位でしかないのは残念。言語や文化の壁も大きいが、雇用体系・給与水準の問題はかなり大きそうです。
これは、商用不動産の世界大手ジョーンズ ラング ラサール（Jones Lang LaSalle）が算出したものです。
何故イノベーションと人材なのか？

Why Innovation & Talent?
Our research confirms that cities which combine strong innovation capabilities and talent concentrations have outperformed in economic terms over the last couple of decades, but more interestingly it reveals a robust link between innovation and talent-rich cities and real estate performance. Put simply, the top performing cities in JLL's Innovation and Talent Concentration indices have recorded the fastest office rental growth over the past decade and are attracting a higher proportion of real estate capital.
