【ブログ】「やりたい事」を深堀りする

前回のブログで書いた「やりたい事」はライフワーク的な要素が強く、いくつかの軸で見た時「今すぐ手を出せるやりたい事」ではないと感じました。というわけで改めて、今回は「やりたい事」と「実現可能性」と「いつまでにやるべきか」など、いくつかの軸を取って、スコアリングをすることで、直近でやりたい事を深堀りしていきます。

まずは「やりたい事」を書き出してみる。

さて書き出しが終わったので、次は軸を取ってスコアリングしていきます。

軸を取ってスコアリングしてみる

書き出した項目を、Passion, Feasibility, ETA の三軸で考えてスコアリングしてみる。Scale of 1 - 5 で、Layoff の可能性は考慮にいれない（入れると ETA がブレるので）。

ランキングの持つ意味を考える

かなり意外な結果になりました。法学、医学は超興味のあることだったのですが、まさかランキング最下位とは。しかしやはりランキング三位までは優先順位高めに設定してこなして行くべきなんだと思います。明らかにやりたい事であり、実現可能性も高いので、人生の幸福度を上げるために一つ一つ消化していこうかと思います。できなかったことは来世でやるしか無いのです。というわけで、今後は以下の Priority で考えていこうかと思います。

ランキング下位は放っておくのか？

スコアリングの結果、ランキングが低いからといって Passion が無いわけではないものが多くあることがわかりました。そこでまず、Education 分野で Passion が高いものについては、より細分化して「独学できることかどうか」を検証していく必要があります。
Education 
Geopolitics = 独学可能
Design = 独学不可能
Japanese History = 独学不可能
Astronomy = 独学可能
Law = （興味のある分野のみ）独学可能
Medical = 独学不可能
というわけで、独学可能なものは趣味の範囲で独学をしていきます。独学不可能なものは、どこかのタイミングで誰かに師事して学ぶことになるでしょう。これ以上はまた別の Doc に落とし込んで、有識者の意見も取り入れて考えてみる必要がありそうです。

Business の分野についてはどうでしょう？ざっくり見た感じ Passion がそもそも低いので、P=1 or 2 は外して考えてみましょう。

そしてこの中で ETA が唯一、2なのが健康麻雀でした。つまり、その他は40代50代以降でも構わないという肌感でしょう。もし30代でチャレンジするなら、可能性があるのは健康麻雀か English School でしょう。

結論

まず、Priority は以下のようになりました。
Education 
P0 - Mathematics (P=5, F=5, E=1), total score of 11
P1 - Sustainability (P=5, F=4, E=1), total score of 10
P2 - Public Policy (P=5, F=3, E=1), total score of 9
Business
P0 - Back to EDU industry (P=5, F=5, E=2), total score of 12
P1 - Social wellbeing (社会福祉・子供支援) (P=5, F=3, E=3), total score of 11
P1 - Stay in Tech (P=4, F=5, E=2), total score of 11

これを言語化してみると「2023 ~ 2024 年はまず数学を勉強することに集中する。数学が一段落したら、Sustainability or Public Policy の勉強をする。Layoff の影響がなかった場合はそのまま Google にいるが、同時に Google 内で教育の方面でやれることがないかを探る。万が一 Layoff があった場合は、まず、教育業界に戻ることを考える。次点で社会福祉や子供支援の職を検討する。同時に家族を養えるだけの給与水準維持のためには Tech (or something similar) に残ることも考える。これらに失敗した場合は健康麻雀か English School を起業する可能性を検討する。」
