体調悪目の1日だった73日目。

Today, I went to the University of Queensland to meet a new friend.
Naively, I was a bit afraid of meeting because I have never met someone in person after speaking online, but the person was a nice guy.
At first we met around the lake and then, we went to the cafe.
We talked about a lot of things, such as jobs, majors, anime and stuff like that.
It seems that he is a UQ student and 19.
He is interested in Japan and he also said he would like to go to Japan.
A few years ago, he had a plan to go to Japan as an exchange student, but due to the Covid-19 his plan was canceled.
When I said I had been an English teacher in Japan, he was interested in it.
And because the English School company, which I worked as a teacher until last year, needs more people, so I recommended it.
Also, he taught me some English.
It seems that since I was the only person to attend GIL the last few weeks, the GIL is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from this week.
So, I asked him to check my diary.
I had a great time meeting my new friend.
Eventually, we talked for about 3 hours.
Before I went home, we made a promise to meet again to eat ramen in the city.
He is my FIRST Australian friend, so I hope we can keep in touch long time.

Also, I checked my flyer, and it seems that some people are interested in a tutor.
To be honest, I'm going to leave Brisbane soon, so it may be difficult to meet in person, I want to make more friends.
