部屋探しスタート

オーストラリア生活6週間目に突入した36日目。

今日は2月12日ということで、前回自分で決めていた部屋探しのスタート日だ。

オーストラリアでの部屋探しは、Facebookを使ったり、オーストラリアの部屋探しのサイトを使ったりして探すことができる。

オーストラリアの家賃は日本と違って週割だ。

今住んでいるブリスベンの家賃相場はおそらく300ドル前後

月に換算すると、家賃が13万弱。

しかも、1人暮らしの部屋ではなく、シェアハウスでこの値段だ。

自分が去年まで住んでいたアパートが家賃、月4万円ほどだったのでおよそ3倍になる。

オーストラリアは物価が高いと言われるわけだ。

そんな中、今日ネットで探している、週140ドルの部屋を見つけた。

色んなサイトを見てきたけど、初めて見る衝撃的な安さだ。

家に関する詐欺が多発しているとも聞くので慎重に情報を集めようと思ってる。

部屋探しは噂では大変と聞くので長期戦覚悟で安くていい部屋を見つけたい。

Today is the day that I decided to start looking for a new house.
You can look for a new house using facebook or on specific websites when you search for a new house in Brisbane.
When you are in Japan, you pay rent monthly, but, here it is different.
You usually pay rent weekly in Australia.
As my experiences, the average rent is about $300 per week in Brisbane.
It means approximately 130 thousand yen.
You can't believe that, the price is not for living alone, it is the price of a share house.
Until last year, I lived in a house  where the rent was about 40 thousand yen per month in Japan.
This is why, most people say that "The price in Australia is expensive".
But, I found a house ehere the rent is $140 per week today.
The price is amazingly cheap.
It seems there are many scams, especially accommodation, so I have to take care with this.
I heard looking for a new house is so hard, but I want to find a cheap and comfortable house.

今日から新しい先生がやってきた。

新しい先生も、前回の先生と同じでスピーキングの時間をたくさんとってくれる。

文法も丁寧に教えてくれる。

語学学校での生活も残すところ半分。

少しでも色んな表現を覚えて、スムーズな会話ができるようにしたい。

We got a new teacher today. The teacher also gives us lots of time to practice speaking. Also, she often corrects your grammar mistakes.
My time here is almost over. I have already passed the halfway point of my stay at this school.
I want to learn different kinds of expressions and I want to speak English more fluently.
