I think that “Setting low goals” is really important!!

I praise Yoshimoto’s blog he is product manager at bellFace, but he said to me “you should write the blog too because you are CEO” that I started to blog.

Belfface, a web conferencing system used for sales, has already been introduced to 700 companies. We realize the 2T3D(Triple, Triple, Double, Double, Double) growth indicator that SaaS companies should aim for, but personally I feel that it is important to "set a low goal" recently.

In other words, “Set goals that can be achieved, and achieve it”

When I founded the first company, I thought ”I have to set a big goal to raise employee motivation, because we are ventures."

But In fact, it did not achieve at all, but only about 50% of the goal was achieved. I made excuses that "we learned from experience" or "the market has changed", but it is painful to repeat it over and over. New employees listened obediently, but veteran employees were suspicious.
Not as expected but we were growing ,,,

We sets the goal of becoming a global venture from Japan. And I'm seriously thinking that it can be realized. However, the goals for this term and for the month are "realistic". It is not a goal that can be achieved comfortably. But at least, there is a reasonable basis.Sometimes we have not reached, but in most cases we have achieved it. Since we have achieved our monthly goals, both investors and employees will believe in us. From the journey of a thousand miles an inch.
Achieving the monthly goal has a really good impact on the team.
(Of course, goals that are too low are meaningless…)

“Set goals that can be achieved, and achieve it”

Venture companies like us have few data to plan. However, since the damage that could not achieve the goal is really big, that is why the goal should be carefully decided.
