早稲田付近カフェ開業理由と理想像を紹介！

開業理由：
１．国際的家庭教師サービス「国サバ学習グループ」を2年ほど経営しているのだが、さすがにそろそろオフィスが持ちたい。しかし、自分はカフェで勉強や作業などすることに慣れていて、典型的なオフィスでは集中できないし、シェアオフィスもあまり好まない。うちの家庭教師たち（ほとんど早大生）が気持ちよく集まりすい場所に交流できる場を作りたいし、イベントスペースも持ちたい。

２．早稲田生として、早大の近くは需要は大きいのにおしゃれで作業できるカフェが不足している。ラテアートしてくれて、Wifi・電源ついていて作業しやすいカフェなんて、高田馬場や神楽坂にいっても少ない。そのために自分はよく大手町・東京駅周辺に行ってた。

３．早稲田の国際学生はフレキシブルで好条件・学びの良いアルバイトを見つけることが難しい。

４．単純にカフェが大好きすぎで、カフェを持ちたい！！

なので、理想像は：
🌳木装のインテリア、Wifiと電源があって、一人あたりのテーブルスペースが広く勉強がしやすい環境。

👯‍♂️ソファ席でグループワークができるテーブルもあり。

🐠奥には国サバ学習グループ用のオフィススペースがあり、夜の業務時間外は普通のテーブル席。

🌈壁は私と国サバの家庭教師たちが愛を込めて描くデザインで、教師やスタッフが描いた絵など飾るのも可。

🌼ところどころに創業パートナーが大好きな植物。

☕️コーヒーが美味しく、ラテアートして提供。

🌮食事は持ち込み可能で、1日に1−2種類の料理だけ提供。

🥗1日のメニューは栄養バランスがよく、スタッフと一緒に考えたもの。

🌍スタッフは国際的大学生かこれから英語や日本語頑張りたい人たち。

📖国際学生のイベントスペースとして場所を貸し出し、自社のイベントも月1−２回開催。
毎週振り返りのセッションでスタッフたちの一週間、カフェに来たお客様の思い出やそこから学習したこと、カフェの改善点などを聞き、みんなのビジネスとしてカフェを育てる。

🥰お客様やスタッフ同士の人間関係構築によりグローバルリーダーになるための充実した学びが経験できる場を作りたい。

国サバは家庭教師（チューター）と生徒たちの間の人間関係から生まれる学びを大切にしている。カフェも、人との出会いから生まれる学びを大切にしたいな。日本をもっと豊かにする第一歩なのでは。。など考えている。

Here are the 4 reasons why I want to open a cafe and my current visions for it!

Reasons:

1. Kokusaba Learning Group has been successfully running for 2 years, and we would like an office space. However, I love doing work and study at cafes, and don’t wish for a normal office. I want a space where our tutors could comfortably come and interact with each other and have events as well.

2. As a Waseda student, the area lacks pretty cafes where you can stay and study/work comfortably with wifi and a nice cup of coffee with latte art on it. Pretty sure there’s a huge demand for that. I myself YEARN for it.

3. International students in Waseda would enjoy part time jobs that are flexible, pays well, and allows them to learn and grow.

4. I just…LOVE cafes and I want my own!

So I see a cafe near Waseda where:

🌳Wooden interior, good wifi, big table spaces where you can study/work

👯‍♂️Some tables and sofas that you can interact in groups

🐠A Kokusaba office corner that doubles as the usual cafe space during the day

🌈A wall filled with art done by me and our brilliant, talented tutors

🌼A lot of plants our COO would love

☕️Good quality coffee, latte art is compulsory for warm milk based drinks

🌮Can bring in food, we provide 1 or 2 main food menus per day, nutritionally balanced and carefully thought out by our staff

🌍Staff are all internationally minded uni students, including students who want to improve their English or Japanese

📖Can host events, both by Kokusaba and other student organizations

💡I will host story time sessions with staff every week, sharing stories about the cafe and reflecting upon what we learned in a week. We will grow the cafe together as our own business.

🥰The cafe will be a place of learning for Waseda university students to spread their wings and become a global leader through valuable human connections between the staff, and between the customers. 

At Kokusaba we value learning through the irreplaceable relationships between the tutors and their students. Relationship-based learning is what the cafe will stand for as well.
