How can we get a Christmas tree? - Nov. 22, 2023.

I have so much work to do because the deadline for my thesis chapter 3 is approaching next week, so I have no idea except for my thesis to write my diary. To make my head clear and change my mood, I would like to start reading ABC News online. When I don’t have any idea for my diary, I’ll pick up a topic from the news and share my opinions and feelings about it.

Today, I read this news below.

It’s about how to get a tree for Christmas as cheap as possible: we’re able to do it by cutting it ourselves. The federally protected forests allow people to cut trees down from 5$ to 10$ to keep forests healthy. Cutting trees down helps trees grow larger, and wildlife gets forage easily. Also, it leads to reduced forest fire danger. Moreover, the article says that forest trees have a larger space for ornaments than the ones on sale because those kinds of trees are not being sheared and packaged through the commercial process. It means we can enjoy making the perfect original Christmas tree. It sounds super fun, isn’t it?

However, we have to pay attention to some points such as the location which allows us to cut trees down and the kinds of trees which suit Christmas ones. Anyway, Christmas day is just around the corner, so I’ll do my best to finish my thesis and enjoy the day.
