コンセプト
-Life is the school. Love is the lesson.-
In a nutshell, I would say that "passion" is the key educational word for me.If we can light up children's passion,learning will be automatic.
一言で言えば、私にとって教育のキーワードは「情熱」です。
子どもたちの情熱に火をつけることができれば、学びは自然と生まれます。
エデュケーターへ7つの心得
①Approach／関わり方
-Develop the habit of patient listening.
／辛抱強く聞く習慣を身につけること。
-Help build the child's confidence in exploring their own interests.
／子供たちが自分の興味を探求することに自信を持てるように助ける。
-Focus the effort on building solutions :To build the best possible outcome.
(What is the problem? What can we do about it?Let's do it)
／解決策の構築に重きを置く。
（何が問題なのか？どうしたらいいのか？やってみよう）
②Writing down／記録する
-Accomplishments, writing down honors and strengths, and life as a learning process.
／達成、名誉や長所、人生自体が学習プロセスである。
-Build what kids love the most so they will look forward to the year.
／子どもたちがその年を楽しみにしてくれるように、子どもたちが一番好きなものを作る。

③Before serious lesson ／授業を始める前に
-Role model
Own learning and talk about what you both are discovering.
／ロールモデル
自ら学んだことについて、お互いが発見したことについて話すこと。
-Helping them to understand why a concept is important.
／子供たちに、なぜコンセプトが重要なのかを理解するのを助けること。
-Is there student allowed enough down-time to truly ponder,What do I think?
／子どもが真剣に考えるのに十分な休憩時間が与えられているか?それについて 自身はどう思うのか？
-Are your students and teachers allowed enough time to sleep and eat?
／生徒と教師に十分な睡眠時間と食事時間が与えられているか?
-Read student´s body language:
If they are demonstrating to avoid the lesson, they probably have a missing link in their understanding of the topics.take a different approach or defer the lesson for later.
／生徒のボディーランゲージを読むこと。
彼らが授業を避けるために反発しているとき、おそらくトピックについて理解できていない可能性がある。その時は 別のアプローチをとるか授業を後回しする。
-Have a reset activity
／気分転換になるような、リセットできる事を用意しておく。
④Don't do that／すべきでないこと
-Teaching too much, too fast, without building the student's interest and understanding, can overwhelm.
／子どもの興味と理解を育むことなく、早すぎ、教えすぎになると子どもは圧倒されてしまう可能性がある。
⑤Change／変えていくこと
-If they have been in structured school for a while, they are likely to be conditioned for passive learning, change it.
／組織化された学校にしばらく通っている場合、受動的な学習をするよう条件付けされている可能性があるため変える必要がある。
⑥地域の学校との関わり
-Public School Relations: We also explore how student-inspired learning can happen inside the school system. We welcome schools as educational partners for inspiring students who learn best with less seat time.
／公立学校との関係: 学校システム内で生徒の学習がどのように行われるかを調べること。 少ない座席時間で最大限の学習をするための教育パートナーとして学校を歓迎する。

／こどもが最も興味を持っているものは何か?
-What holds your child's interest the most?
／こどもはどのように学ぶのが好きか?
-How they like to learn?
／こどもを幸せにするものは何か?

／ こどもを落ち込ませるのではなく、やる気を起こさせるものは何か?
-What is the fine line of awareness that will motivate, rather than depress, your child?

We teach that making of traditional crafts because we believe it's important they learn to make own instruments.We even teach them to make things like chopsticks with the wood so that nothing is wasted.

The Hawaiian people have always taught seven generations ahead of them.They have always looked forward. With the destruction of our culture, there is no generation to learn, to carry it on. The state controls everything.
I am a caretaker of the sacred sites. The uhane (the spirits of ancestors) have given me the knowledge and wisdom to give back to the children and the people, so that is where my teaching begins. I am willing to sacrifice a year in jail to protect our culture and the rights of our people.
Do not doubt yourself. You can do anything is you believe. You can make things happen if you believe. Do not doubt yourself, as I was told by the Spirit once.
ハワイの人々は常に 7 世代先まで教えてきました。
彼らは常に前を向いてきましたが、 私たちの文化が破壊されたことで、それを学び、継承する世代がいなくなってしまいました。 国家がすべてを管理しています。
