Day 4

Drama Class will perform Sherlock Holmes  on May. I’m joining this performance as an assistant director. I’m so excited. Because I don’t think that I can get an opportunity to create a drama in abroad. I have to read the script immediately.

I attended the show of WEST SIDE STORY that is performed on Sydney Harbour. Tony Billy Bourchier as Tony and Nina Korbe as Maria is so good. But I can’t satisfy to the orchestra performance. It seems like it would be difficult to do outside. And I will want to try direction for this masterpiece by Anita’s perspective. I think through this performance that she is the most important role.

とても興奮している。海外でドラマを作る機会は、なかなか得られないと思っていたから。
すぐに脚本を読まなければならない。

シドニー港で上演されているウエストサイドストーリーを見に行きました。トニー役のトニー・ビリー・ボーチャーとマリア役のニーナ・コルベは素晴らしい。でもオーケストラの演奏には満足できない。

外でやるのは難しそうだった。

そして、この傑作をアニタの視点で演出してみたい。この公演を通して、彼女が最も重要な役だと感じたから。
