May 21, 2023: Weird Spring, Things Not to Be Seen （変な春、見てはいけないもの）

About a week ago, it was very rainy and cold as if I had been in winter. Then, spring came back, and I expected to enjoy spring-like sunny days for a while. But it was wrong. It suddenly got hot like in summer. The sudden change wasted my mental and physical strength. I went walking in the morning. But it was already so hot that I was all in sweat. Then, I got very sleepy and dozed off for about thirty to sixty minutes.
I have thought that spring is the season full of warm and sunny days and that it has more warm and sunny days than any other season. But I may be wrong. This spring, as usual, has had some warm and sunny days. But the days are very few. They are much fewer than I expected, and it has cold and hot days instead. So it is unlikely that the remaining spring days will be warm and sunny. And a rainy season is likely to come very soon.
Such a weird weather seemed to affect our daily lives. It sometimes forces us to see what should not be seen in public. One of them is a flasher, and I heard that it appeared near my apartment. I did not actually see him. But I knew it from the notice that my flat's residents' association had been informed by the police that the exhibitionist was walking around my flat. Probably, he must be a resident of my town. So he may appear again. Please God, I never see him.

　一週間くらい前は、まるで冬かと思うほど雨が降って寒かったです。その後に、春は戻ってきたので、しばらくは春らしいボカボカ陽気を楽しめそうだと楽しみにしていました。ところが、夏のような暑さがやってきました。おかげで、体力を消耗しました。午前中にウオーキングにいっても、汗びっしょりでした。そして、眠気に襲われて、30分ほど居眠りをしてしまいました。
春は天気のいい日多いとずっと思っていたのですが、どうやら思い違いのようです。今年の春も例年通り、春らしい暖かく天気のいい日はあります。でも、そんな日は非常に少なく、寒い日もあればくそ暑い日もあります。この調子では、この後も、暖かく天気のいい日はなさそうです。そして、あっという間に、梅雨に入りそうです。
　そんな変な天気はボクたちの生活に影響しています。時には、公の場で見てはいけないものを見せさせられることもあります。その一つが露出狂です。ボクのマンションの周辺に現れたそうです。ボクは、現場を見ていないのですが、最寄りの警察署からマンションの理事会に通報がありました。きっと、この露出狂は、町の住民なので、また出てきそうです。くわばら、くわばら。
