Nobody's Child -むなしく悲しい・・

「Nobody's Child (誰の子)」は、カントリーシンガーのCy CobenとMel Foreeの書いた曲だった。
1949年にハンク・スノー（Hank  Snow）によって最初に録音されたが、チャートはされなかった。
1956年、ロニードネガンのファーストアルバム（イギリスでは2位になった）に収録され、
1961年、トニーシェリダンとビートブラザーズ（ ザ・ビートルズ ）によってカバーされた。
1969年には、 カレン・ヤング( Karen Young )のカバーは、イギリスのチャートで6位になり、アルバムのタイトルトラックともなった。ここ時点で、著名な曲となったといわれる。
