Solid stone

I haven’t recently been getting enough sleep, and I think it’s because I tend to overthink things. I feel like in Japan, people tend to stick to age. You know, we put huge emphasis on it. Someone persists; ‘People should get married, have a child, or achieve something great by the age of 30.’ It’s like a milestone for us, for human beings who live in modern society. I’m also stuck to this idea, setting goals that I hope to reach by my 30. While I get the idea and even can see merit in it, something just feels off. I carve my own way as if it's made of rock or metal, making it tough to dig.

Have a lovely day.
