オーストラリアに来て初めて電車に乗った。
I took a railway last week. It was the first time for me in Australia.
J'ai pris un train la semaine dernière. C'était la première fois qui je venais en Australie.

路面電車ではなく、踏切で車輌を遮断するやつ。
Railway is not a tram but transportation which can make cars wait for its passing at crossings.
Le train n'est pas un tramway mais un moyen de transport qui peut faire attendre les voitures à son passage aux carrefours.

電車を待つ間、ふと考えた。
I have thought about following sentences during waiting time for a railway.
J'ai pensé aux phrases suivantes pendant le temps d'attente d'un train.

僕が乗った駅は利用者も少ないためか、無人駅だった。
The station where I caught the railway did not have any station staff because there were few passengers.
La gare où j'ai pris le train n'avait pas de personnel car il y avait peu de passagers.

日本でも無人駅では改札がなく、電車に乗ってから切符を買う。
There are also many stations which do not have staff in Japan. Passengers buy a ticket after getting on a train.
Il existe également de nombreuses gares qui n'ont pas de personnel au Japon. Les passagers achètent un billet après être montés dans le train.

都市部になると切符は自動販売機で買うし、自動改札を通ってホームへ行く。
In urban ares, we can purchase tickets from automatic vending machines and go through automatic ticket gates to go to platforms.

昔は駅員がやっていた事だが、機械により自動化された。
Station staff used to do these jobs, but they have been mechanized.

それにより、少ない駅員で大量の乗客を受け入れる事が可能になった。
As a result, these mechanizations have realized to manage numerous passengers with fewer station staff.

人間がやっていた作業を機械がやることによって、高速化や精度の向上も見込める。
These alternations also provide with improvement of physical speed and accuracy.

某会社においても省人化は合言葉のように、常に意識しなくてはならなかった。
Mechanization was like a slogan of the company which I worked for, so employees always needed to care about it.

しかし、この前提が無かったとしたらどうなるだろうか？
However, what would be happened if there are not this precondition?

乗車料金を支払うシステムとして、専用のカードを乗客全員が所持し、乗る前もしくは降りた後に必ず使用しなくてはならないシステムは実現可能だろうか？

アデレードは料金は一律だが、パースは異なる。

乗客1人1人がどのくらいの区間乗ったのか把握する必要はあるだろうか？
