病人をいやし、死人をよみがえらせ、重い皮膚病人をきよめ、悪霊を追い出せ。ただで受けたのだから、ただで与えるがよい。

この聖句は、神からの賜物を分かち合い、無私の愛を実践し、すべてを神の御手に委ねる信仰生活の重要性を教えています。
これらの教訓を心に留め、日々歩んでいくことで、私たちはより豊かな信仰生活を送ることができ、神の愛と恵みを多くの人々に伝えることができるのです。
1. 神からの賜物を分かち合う
8節の前半では、イエスは弟子たちに病人を癒し、死人を甦らせる、重い皮膚病人を清める、悪霊を追い出すといった奇跡を行う権能を与えます。そして、「ただで受けたのだから、ただで与えよ」と命じます。
これは、神から与えられた賜物は、自分自身のために独占するのではなく、困っている人々と分かち合い、神の愛を伝えるために用いるべきだということを意味しています。
現代社会においても、私たちクリスチャンは、神から与えられた様々な賜物を持っています。それは、知性、才能、財産、時間、人脈など、形は様々です。
8節の教えは、私たちに与えられた賜物を使って、積極的に隣人を愛し、仕えるように促しています。困っている人に手を差し伸べ、社会に貢献することで、神の栄光が現され、多くの人が救われるのです。
2. 無私の愛を実践する
「ただで受けたのだから、ただで与えよ」という言葉は、見返りを求めずに、無私の愛をもって与えることの大切さを教えています。
私たちが何かを与えたり、善行をするとき、感謝されたり、認められたりすることを期待するのは自然なことです。しかし、イエスの教えは、そのような期待を捨て、純粋な愛に基づいて行動することを求めているのです。
無私の愛とは、相手に対する条件や要求を一切なくし、ただ相手のためを願って与えることです。それは、時に理解しがたい愛であり、難しいと感じるかもしれません。
しかし、そのような愛こそが、神の本質であり、私たちが目指すべき生き方なのです。無私の愛を実践することで、私たちは真の喜びと深い満たしを得ることができます。
3. すべてを神の御手に委ねる
8節の後半で、イエスは弟子たちに旅に必要な持ち物を最小限に抑え、必要なものは神が備えてくださることを約束します。これは、私たちが自分の力や能力に頼ることなく、すべてを神の御手に委ねて歩むべきだということを意味しています。
現代社会においても、私たちは様々な問題や困難に直面し、不安や恐れを感じるかもしれません。しかし、8節の教えは、そのような時こそ、神を信頼し、すべてを神に委ねることが大切だと教えています。
神は私たち一人ひとりを愛し、いつも見守ってくださっています。私たちの必要はすべて知っておられ、必要な時に必要なものを備えてくださるのです。
すべてを神の御手に委ねることは、決して楽なことではありません。しかし、そうすることで、私たちは真の平安と自由を得ることができるのです。
私は、神からの賜物を分かち合い、無私の愛を実践し、すべてを神の御手に委ねる信仰生活を送りたいと祈ります。

This scripture teaches us the importance of a life of faith in which we share God's gifts, practice selfless love, and place everything in God's hands.
By taking these lessons to heart and walking in them daily, we can live a richer life of faith and share God's love and grace with many others.
1. sharing God's gifts
In the first half of verse 8, Jesus gives his disciples the authority to perform miracles such as healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing those with serious skin diseases, and casting out demons. He then commands, “Since you have received them for free, give them away for free.
This means that we should not monopolize the gifts given by God for ourselves, but share them with those in need and use them to share God's love.
Even in today's society, we Christians have a variety of God-given gifts. It can take many forms: intelligence, talents, possessions, time, contacts, and so on.
The teaching in verse 8 urges us to use the gifts we have been given to actively love and serve our neighbors. By reaching out to those in need and contributing to society, God's glory will be revealed and many will be saved.
2. practicing selfless love
The phrase, “You have received for free, so give for free,” teaches us the importance of giving with selfless love, without asking for anything in return.
When we give something or do a good deed, it is natural to expect to be thanked or recognized. But Jesus' teaching requires us to set aside such expectations and act out of pure love.
Selfless love is giving without any conditions or demands, just for the sake of the other person. It is a love that is sometimes difficult to understand and may seem difficult.
But such love is the essence of God and the way of life we should strive for. By practicing selfless love, we can attain true joy and deep fulfillment.
3. placing everything in God's hands
Later in verse 8, Jesus assures the disciples that they will minimize their belongings for the journey and that God will provide what they need. This implies that we should not rely on our own strength and abilities, but leave everything in God's hands as we walk.
In today's society, we face many problems and difficulties, and we may feel anxious and fearful. However, verse 8 teaches us that it is in times like these that it is important to trust God and surrender everything to Him.
God loves each of us and is always watching over us. He knows all our needs and provides what we need when we need it.
Putting everything in God's hands is never easy. But in doing so, we can find true peace and freedom.
I pray to share God's gifts, to practice selfless love, and to live a life of faith that puts everything in God's hands.
