「入梅」
　例年なら入梅日にあたる6月11日、東京は曇り空が広がっている。まるで初夏のような蒸し暑さは感じられるが、梅雨の谷間というわけではなく、沖縄は梅雨明けするのではないかという噂すら流布する中で東京は梅雨入りする気配すら感じられない。
　また、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受けて、菅政権下の日本政府は東京・大阪・兵庫・京都・福岡・愛知・北海道・岡山・広島・沖縄の10都道府県を対象に3回目となる「緊急事態宣言」を発令中で、先月5月28日には緊急事態宣言を6月20日まで延長することを決定したが、都心部では非常事態宣言中とは感じられないほど人が行き交いマスク姿を除けば日常を取り戻したかのように見える。

　In addition, in response to the spread of the new coronavirus, the Japanese government under the Kan administration has declared a state of emergency for the third time in 10 prefectures (Tokyo, Osaka, Hyogo, Kyoto, Fukuoka, Aichi, Hokkaido, Okayama, Hiroshima, and Okinawa), and last month, on May 28, the government decided to extend the state of emergency until June 20.
