ゲーム音楽を語る＃34〜『Transformation』

どうも、けこぜろです。

色々ありましたが、結局来年も同じ生活となることが決まりました。
非常に憂鬱です。

さて、今回も昨日に続いてゲーム音楽について。
知る人ぞ知る名作『すばらしきこのせかい』の楽曲で1番好きな曲『Transformation』を紹介します。

『Transformation』

『Transformation』は『すばらしきこのせかい』の戦闘曲です。
アレンジアルバムである『すばらしきこのせかい + The World Ends with You』に収録されていて、元々は海外版の『The World Ends with You』での追加楽曲でした。
当時アルバムを聴いてかっこよさに惚れたのですが、後にiOS版『すばらしきこのせかい -Solo Remix-』にて逆輸入する形でゲーム内でも聴くことができるようになりました。
めちゃくちゃテンションが上がりましたね。

イントロのギターから非常にかっこいいですし、曲を通してとにかくギターがかっこいいのです。
王道のロックといった感じで、語彙が少なくて恐縮ですが本当にかっこいい楽曲です。
疾走感もありますし、めちゃくちゃテンション上がりますね。

劇中で流れるのは2周目のボスであるミナミモト戦です。
敵ながら非常にかっこいいキャラクターで、続編である『新すばらしきこのせかい』では序盤でパーティメンバーとなりました。
人気キャラクターであるミナミモトと非常によく合いますし、アレンジバージョンは禁断化ミナミモト戦でも流れましたね。

本編クリア後のパラレル世界「アナザーデイ」でも『Transformation』は絶妙な使われ方をしていましたね。
最高でした。

そして続編『新すばらしきこのせかい』でもミナミモトが登場したシーンでアレンジ版が流れました。
シリーズで1番好きな曲なので最高でしたね。

『Transformation』もボス戦で流れた後は通常の戦闘でも流れます。
流れるたびにテンション上がりますし、戦闘への意欲も高まります。

非常に好きな曲ではありますが、『シアトリズム ファイナルバーライン』には追加されませんでした。
残念ではありますが仕方ないですね。


まとめ

こんな感じで、『すばらしきこのせかい』の楽曲『Transformation』についてでした。
シリーズで1番好きな曲ですし、とにかくギターがかっこよくてテンションの上がる楽曲です。
シリーズでも人気キャラクターであるミナミモトのテーマソング的な一面もありますし、ゲーム内での使われ方も最高でした。
原曲に加えて2曲もアレンジバージョンがありますし、どれもかっこよくて本当に大好きです。
