【へっぽこ英会話2Months⑧】日本文化"節分"について英語で話す
noteの皆さん、ただいま(* ´ ▽ ` *)ﾉ
試験！終了！
できた。笑
満点かもしれない。笑
そんな確信が持てるほどには勉強した。
自分でも気持ち悪いと思うほど。
私の字が汚すぎて、採点者が読み取れない、なんてことがなければ受かったと思う。
受かったら、またここに書く…！
さて、noteから離れていた間、英語だけは続けていたので、それを投稿したい。
節分の話だが、どうぞ。
I want to talk about a Japanese event that is called Setubun.
You Know?
It's held on February 3rd that means the end of winter.
It's to welcome the spring.
Everyone can do it at school or home.
知っていますか？
それは２月３日に開かれます。
冬の終わり、春の訪れを意味します。
皆、学校や家で行われます。
When we held the event, one teacher or adult wears devil's costumes.
And children throw beans at him.
そして子供たちが彼に豆を投げます。
When children throw beans they said Go away Devils Come in happiness.
If children throw beans, the teacher has to clean up.
Recently children throw beans package, so the teacher can clean up easily.
The packets don't hurt much.
もし子供が豆を投げると、先生は後片付けをしなくてはいけません。
最近では、パッケージで投げ、簡単に片づけられるようになりました。
パッケージであれば、そこまで痛くありません。
After throwing the beans ,they eat the same number of beans as our age.
For example my daughter who is 7 years old can eat 7 beans.
She can eat only 7.
Everyone counts their own beans. （Everyone has to eat exactly the amount that matches their age.）
娘は７歳なので、７粒です。
皆、自分の豆を数えます。
And they eat Sushi roll.
They should eat it facing the direction that happiness will come from .
Eat all of it without speaking. （we eat it facing the right way.）
The direction of happiness changes every year.
nobody decides.
福が来る方角を向いて食べなければなりません。
無言で全部食べます。
その方角は、毎年変わります。
誰かが決められません。
My daughter look forward to it. She likes it.
5 years ago when she saw the Devil, she used to cry .
she couldn't throw beans.
But she has got used to it now.
she had grown up a bit, she can throw beans.
５年前は、鬼を見て泣いていました。
豆まきできませんでした。
でも今は慣れました。
大きくなって、豆まきができるようになりました。
