お題 Can the global food supply be ensured in the coming decades?

Ever since industrial revolution, human beings have been developing agricultural systems in order to ensure the equitable distribution of food supply across the globe.
Nonetheless, in my opinion, the idea that global food supply can be guaranteed over the next decade is skeptical in views of climate change, national war and social factors.

One problem that our society has faced for a long time in terms of food supply is climate change. The devastating impacts caused by climatic disaster like massive floods and intense heat have made it impossible for us to cultivate numerous types of food products. This ruthlessly deprives many farmers of chances to lead their sustainable lives and obtain financial income, potentially resulting in poverty.

Furthermore, the difficulty with which many people in developing nations can get nutritional value can be considerable because of national war. Russia's invasion into Ukraine stands out as a case in point in which a sharp increase in food prices has caused turmoil in food supply. This atrocious event precludes the possibility that citizens across the world get food supply equitably. More tragically, given the fact that developing countries depend on Ukraine when it comes to food supply, Russia's barbaric behavior has put immeasurable strain on their sustainablity or economic advancement.

Another importance we should attach to the main cause of unstable food supply is social factors. As a classic example, racial discrimination has something to do with unequal circulation of food. It is often pointed out that racial minority has a tendency to be in the grip of chronic hunger. Due to multiple structural systems, black people more disproportionatly
bear the brunt of hunger in comparison with white counterparts.

In summary, it cannot be said that global food supply can be accomplished over the next decade due to global warming, massive scale of war, and societal factors.  Not until we urgently tackle these grave issues will the world see the halcyon days in terms of food supply.
