【詩】薄切りの夢

親しくしている方からハムをいただいた。
キッチンに立ち、まな板に載せ、包丁で切る。

パンに挟んで食べるつもり。

切っているうちに　
どれくらい薄く切れるか試してみたくなった。

包丁にサラダ油を垂らす。
切り方も工夫する。

あれこれ試行錯誤の末、
惚れ惚れするほど薄く切れるようになった。

じつに見事な薄切りハム。
これなら皆既日食だって透けて見えるかも。

「うふふ」
思わず笑ってしまう。

それにしても　
なんて、なんて薄っぺらいんでしょうね。
　

Sliced Dream

I received a ham
from the person I was close to.

I stand in the kitchen,
put it on a cutting board
and cut it with a knife.

I'll eat it with bread.

While cutting,
I wanted to try how thin it was.

I drip salad oil on the kitchen knife.
Also devise how to cut.

After so much trial and error,
I began to cut it thinly enough to admire it.

A really fine sliced ham.

If this is the case,
the total solar eclipse may be seen through.

"Hehehe"
I accidently laughed.

Even so, how thin I am?
